    You will be providing exceptional destination and subject matter advice, plus general guidance to customers to assist them through the booking process once the holiday or trip has been confirmed

    • You will be progressing and administering confirmed bookings on the in-house reservations system, ensure the customer is fully informed and supported throughout the remainder of the booking journey
    • You will be helping customers and suppliers with any booking queries pre and post travel
    • Help create detailed itinerary documents for each school/customer
    • Produce accurate booking confirmations, amendment quotes, checklists and invoices.

Commercial Analyst - What will I be doing ?

  • The role is accountable for developing and delivering commercial reporting to the Head of Commercial and the whole business.
  • It will challenge the Head of Commercial and other leaders on the commercial drivers behind gross margin performance and how to increase that over time.
  • It is a role for an individual who enjoys playing with data to build a picture of business performance, report on such performance in an understandable manner, and is driven by a positive commercial impact.
  • Sustainability and Responsible Tourism is at the core of what they do, and should be a passion for everyone employed by the Group.

Commercial Analyst - What experience do I need ?

  • You must have experience in an analytical role, either in finance, commercial, sales or marketing teams ideally within the travel industry
  • Ideally worked in a team with considerable interaction with actual financial performance metrics
  • Skilled at interrogating data with SQL, working with CRM data, and preparing dashboards in Excel and other BI tools
  • History of presenting commercially-focused data and breaking-down complex analysis into logic steps

Commercial Analyst - What else do I need to know?

This is a role with a fabulous operator who are passionate about the industry they work in . They would ideally like this person to come to the office twice a week in Hampshire but there is absolute flexibility around this if you live further afield. This wonderful tour operator specialises in Educational Travel as well as some great holidays to some fabulous destinations. The great recovery has begun in travel, and they are now looking for someone to join them to work across all products in an operational role/

Operations Specialist - What will I be doing?
You will be providing exceptional destination and subject matter advice, plus general guidance to customers to assist them through the booking process once the holiday or trip has been confirmed

  • You will be progressing and administering confirmed bookings on the in-house reservations system, ensure the customer is fully informed and supported throughout the remainder of the booking journey
  • You will be helping customers and suppliers with any booking queries pre and post travel
  • Help create detailed itinerary documents for each school/customer
  • Produce accurate booking confirmations, amendment quotes, checklists and invoices.
  • You will maintain a departures checklist to ensure that schools/customers meet deadlines, and send reminders, as needed for payments, booking forms, insurance details and required information
  • You will communicate with suppliers to ensure all components of the booking are provided, as booked, and that dietary/medical requirements are met
  • You will also be involved in managing and resolving in-resort issues as a matter of priority and maintain the highest levels of customer service throughout. Document events and communicate as necessary.

Operations Specialist - What experience do I need?

  • Ideally you will have travel industry experience having worked in a similar operations or post booking role where you have managed itineraries etc..

You will ideally have a good knowledge of Iceland, Canada and Scandinavia but this is not essential
You will be an excellent communicator - always helpful and pro- active with a high attention to detail.

Operations specialist - What else do I need to know?

This is based in the office 2 days a week with the rest from home. The hours are 9 - 5. The salary is £23k - £24k with some lovely benefits. There is a real family feel to this business and they are excited to be back trading after the pandemic so there is a real buzz around the place.

Customer Retention Manager - What will I be doing?

Whilst the core part of the role is to oversee the day-to-day management and performance of the offshore retention teams, it also encompasses the development of improvement plans and feedback to the business to reduce assisted bookings, improve workflows and improve customer outcomes, as well as the overall customer experience. You will have strong commercial experience in an e-commerce environment, ideally within travel, and demonstrable experience of driving sales teams to meet demanding challenges and deadlines.

Customer Retention Manager - What experience do I need?

  • Significant experience in a sales and/or retention role
  • Proven track record of delivering against commercial KPI's in busy inbound/outbound contract centre environments
  • Experience of managing offshore retention teams, delivering to productivity and service level company targets and objectives
  • Strong planning and organisation skills and an ability to understand and engage with internal and external customers
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Experience of influencing and driving improvements
  • Experience of reporting trends in supplier performance and analysing against business objectives
  • Strong communicator across all levels of a business
  • Exceptional man-management and coaching skills
  • Highly motivated, well-organised and able to provide outstanding customer service

Customer Retention Manager - What else do I need to know?
The post holder can be based anywhere in the UK although will be required to attend occasional meetings at the Head Office in London and overseas to visit outsourced partners. This position is challenging as well as rewarding and requires expertise, drive and a passion to succeed and make a significant impact. The role is Monday to Friday with occasional need to work outside of these hours when required.

The company have recently launched a new event-driven platform using Apache Kafka and a microservices architecture. The roadmap ahead is varied and innovative and the PHP Developer will play an integral part in the development of this.

PHP Developer - What experience do I need?

  • To be considered for this position you must have a minimum of 4 years' PHP experience - (OOP), working with PHP frameworks (Symfony, Laravel, Phalcon, Slim or similar)
  • Ideally DevOps capabilities (CI, deployment automation and containerisation) or an appreciation and willingness to gain experience
  • Hands-on experience building and integrating APIs
  • Familiarity with relational database and SQL
  • Experience with a test-driven development workflow
  • Knowledge of SOLID and related OO design principles
  • Experience working with:
    • Apache Kafka
    • Serverless Framework
    • WebSockets
    • Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana
