We are recruiting for a growing corporate travel company seeking an ambitious Sales Executive / Business Development Executive. You might already have experience in sales, recruitment, lead generation or customer service-or you may be looking for an opportunity to begin your commercial career.
Corporate travel experience would be helpful but is not essential. Your confidence, curiosity, resilience and willingness to learn will be equally important.
Sales Executive / Business Development Executive - Corporate Travel: What will I be doing?
- Researching prospective clients and identifying the right decision-makers.
- Generating new business leads through telephone calls, LinkedIn, email, referrals and events.
- Starting conversations, understanding potential requirements and qualifying opportunities.
- Arranging introductory meetings for yourself and senior commercial colleagues.
- Managing your pipeline and maintaining accurate CRM records.
- Following up leads and marketing enquiries professionally.
- Supporting proposals, presentations and tender responses.
- Gradually becoming involved in more of the sales process as your experience develops.
Sales Executive / Business Development Executive - Corporate Travel: What experience do I need?
- Experience in sales, business development, recruitment, lead generation, customer service or another target-led environment would be beneficial.
- Confidence approaching prospective clients by telephone, LinkedIn, video and face-to-face.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Resilience, curiosity and the ability to ask relevant questions.
- Good organisation and confidence working towards targets.
- A willingness to learn, receive feedback and try new approaches.
- Experience with CRM platforms or LinkedIn Sales Navigator would be useful.
- Corporate travel or travel technology experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
Sales Executive / Business Development Executive - Corporate Travel: What else do I need to know?This is a hybrid, London-based opportunity with an ambitious and expanding corporate travel business.
You will receive structured training, coaching and support from experienced commercial colleagues. As your confidence grows, you will have the opportunity to attend client meetings, become involved in proposals and negotiations, and take greater ownership of new business opportunities.
