Business Development Manager - Corporate Travel
We are recruiting on behalf of a client who are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to help drive the next stage of growth within their corporate travel division.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established travel group with significant scale, strong financial backing and a highly competitive product offering. The business has an established global infrastructure, extensive airline relationships and a strong operational setup already in place, giving you the platform to focus on what you do best - winning business.
The role will focus on building corporate travel sales across the UK SME market and offers the chance to genuinely shape and influence growth.
Business Development Manager - what will I be doing?
- Driving new business growth across the UK SME corporate travel market
- Identifying, approaching and securing new corporate accounts
- Building relationships with decision makers and positioning the business as a strong alternative within the TMC market
- Creating and managing a healthy sales pipeline and converting opportunities into revenue
- Developing relationships across the travel industry and networking within relevant events and industry circles
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth client onboarding experience
- Helping shape future sales strategy as the corporate division continues to grow
- Playing a key role in building the UK corporate proposition
Business Development Manager - what experience do I need?
- Previous business development experience within corporate travel / TTC / TMC environment is essential
- Strong understanding of the SME corporate travel market
- Proven track record of winning new business and exceeding targets
- Good understanding of how corporate clients buy travel services and what influences switching providers
- Confident networking and relationship-building skills
- Commercially aware with strong negotiation ability
- Able to operate autonomously whilst also contributing strategically
Business Development Manager - What else do I need to know?
Hybrid role based in Central London
- Salary circa £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
- Uncapped commission structure with strong earning potential
- Part of a large, established travel group with extensive global infrastructure
