Homeworking Business Travel Consultant

This independent Corporate Travel Management business who really focus on looking after their people are looking for an experienced Business Travel Consultant to join their established team. What will I be doing? 

  • You will be working with the nicest team of 4 people booking travel for clients across a variety of medium and small travel management accounts.
  • The type of travel will be varied from domestic flights to multi sector itineraries - always using your excellent fares knowledge and GDS skills

Business Travel Consultant - What experience do I need? 

  • You must be an experienced Business Travel Consultant who can hit the ground running with either Amadeus or Galileo and a good fares knowledge.
  • Exceptional customer service attention is essential.

    This is a wonderful opportunity to join a very well-established Travel Management Business who are thriving. They have an exciting team that deal with Corporate Events, Groups and Sporting and Media Clients where no day is the same and the work you will be doing is fast paced and interesting.

    Business Travel Consultant / Groups Consultant - What Will I be Doing ?

    • The role is slightly different to a normal business travel role as its working within their events team.
    • They have their own sports business travel clients and media clients who require a more specialist approached to their bookings.
    • They also deal with large events travel which can be anything from 10 people traveling to 1000 people with some groups being booked but the majority of the bookings are for individual flights to the one event for various origins.

    Business Travel Consultant / Groups Consultant - What experience do I need ?

    • Ideally you will have worked as a Corporate Travel Consultant or Business Travel Consultant previously, but we will also take applications from candidate who have booked group flights using a GDS or who have a good flight booking GDS background but have not necessarily worked in Corporate Travel before.
    • You must have good proficiency on Galileo, Amadeus or Sabre.

    This role can be based from anywhere in the UK. You will be provided with equipment and there is a good base salary plus quarterly monetary incentive.
