Booking Agent - What will I be doing?

Whilst the core part of this role is booking accommodation, it offers a great deal of variety and no two days are the same. There's a great deal of support and training on offer and the opportunity to progress is superb. Whether you are arranging hotels, bespoke accommodation, or managing existing bookings, you'll need to be resourceful, have the ability to multi-task and must be able to react quickly and effectively and meet demanding and often changing deadlines. The position is challenging as well as fun and requires a self-motivated and ambitious individual with a desire to succeed.

Booking Agent - What experience do I need?

  • Experience within the travel industry would be beneficial, ieeally with experience of researching and securing accommodation for business and leisure trips
  • Excellent at building relationships and rapport
  • A problem solver with the ability to follow through tasks and responsibilities to ensure positive outcomes
  • Great communication skills and an excellent telephone manner
  • Excellent eye for detail and accuracy
  • A team player who can engage effectively across all levels of a business
  • Highly motivated and well-organised
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

This role is part of a dynamic and supportive team and requires a high degree of flexibility and an ability to deal with change, growth and pressurised deadlines. It is the ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about travel, culture and who always strives to deliver the best possible service to customers and clients. The role is City based on a permanent basis for the first few months and then there's an option to divide your time between home and the office.The hoursn are Monday - Friday on a shift basis between 9am and 6.30pm

Travel Consultant - What will I be doing?

You will be selling a variety of holidays worldwide to customers face to face and over the phone. You will be working in a small team and will deal with everything on the booking from start to finish.

Aviation Manager - What will I be doing?

  • You will spend most of your time overseeing the airline ticketing functions and aviation processes in a hands-on capacity
  • Having regular meetings with key airline partners and sharing all information with the Commercial teams
  • You will ensure that all BSP reconciliation is up to date along with refunds & ADM / ACM queries
  • You will take direction from the Product Managers and Commercial Manager to ensure that tactical deals are negotiated to coincide with promotions
  • You will ensure that the Reservations team is supported with GDS queries and flight issues

  • To provide training within the ticketing department when required

Tour Consultant / Key Account Manager - What will I be doing?

  • You will be tailor making itineraries for educational settings in line with the course that their students are studying. Every tour is bespoke with each client having different needs
  • You will be generating accurate tour costings
  • Liaising with suppliers / colleagues to negotiate and confirm travel, accommodation and visit requirements
  • Ensuring all tours are completed within set budgets and client payments are received in the agreed time frames
  • You will develop "life-long" relationships with both client and supplier

  • Ideally you will have an understanding of the needs of educational settings' trips with proven experience and full understanding of delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ideally advanced knowledge of the School Travel Market
  • Destination knowledge in particular Europe.

  • Ability to work as under own initiative, and essentially as part of a wider team

This role is a Monday - Friday 9 - 5 role and is based in the office in Surrey / Greater London.
