Business Travel Consultant - What will I be doing?
As a Business Travel Consultant, you will provide a unique hands-on service to clients and key accounts by sourcing the best travel solutions to meet their requirements. You’ll be accountable, resourceful and use your expertise to make recommendations that add value, always ensuring that the customer’s journey is a memorable one. You will be working on some exciting media and sports accounts within an events team so this will be a little different to a straight forward Business Travel role.

Business Travel Consultant - What experience do I need?

• Experience within the travel industry is essential
• Fully conversant with one or all GDS systems; Sabre, Galileo, Amadeus - essential
• Demonstrable experience of remaining calm in a highly pressurised environment and being able to adapt quickly to increases in travel request volumes
• You’ll need experience of identifying negotiated opportunities and must be able to construct airfares
• Strong at building relationships
• Research and negotiation skills in order to obtain the best deals which are fit-for-purpose for clients
• Experience of managing service level requirements
• A commercially astute individual with superb communication and written skills
• Highly motivated, well-organised and able to provide outstanding customer service
• Experience of working effectively within a team

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced BTC  who has a passion for travel, customer satisfaction, teamwork and technology and who has a desire to deliver great solutions. It is a fully remote role and pays a basic plus a quarterly bonus.
