Business Travel Consultant - Part time
This is a superb opportunity for an experienced Business Travel Consultant to join a market leader within their specialist field, who recognises that providing support and ensuring the professional development of their staff is key to delivering a superior quality service to their clients. They are looking for an individual who shares the same passion for corporate travel and who always strives to make sure their client’s journey is a memorable one.
Business Travel Consultant - What will I be doing?
As a Business Travel Consultant, you will build strong client relationships and provide a professional business travel service which will exceed client expectations, and, as a role model, you’ll lead by example and create a significant impact whilst also helping others to achieve success. You will be working mainly with clients in the Oil and Gas Industry with some marine travel too.
Business Travel Consultant - What experience do I need?
- It is essential that you have experience of working within the travel industry as a Business Travel Consultant
- You will be a proactive thinker who provides a consultative approach to all travel requests and an end-to-end solution for all clients
- Fares and Ticketing knowledge
- Previous experience as a coach or mentor
- An ability to identify development opportunities for yourself as well as others
- Demonstrable experience of working in a highly pressurised environment and being able to adapt quickly to increases in travel request volumes
- Fully conversant on either Galileo or Amadeus
- A commercially astute individual with superb communication and written skills and the desire to become a subject matter expert, whilst always demonstrating consistency and a high attention to detail
Business Travel Consultant - What else do I need to know?
This is a part time role working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday or Thursday and Friday - they can look at 2 or 3 days a week.
