Supplier Relations Manager - Corporate Travel Industry
We are recruiting on behalf of a growing travel management business who are looking to appoint a Supplier Relations Manager to join their team.
This is a key position within the business, centred around building strong partnerships with airlines, hotels and ground providers, and ensuring these relationships deliver real commercial value. You'll play an important role in influencing how suppliers are managed, improving performance and supporting the wider business in delivering a competitive offering to clients.
It's a great opportunity for someone from a business travel, TMC or airline background who enjoys working closely with suppliers, negotiating effectively and taking ownership of their area, with plenty of opportunity to grow as the business evolves.Supplier Relations Manager - what will I be doing?
* Managing and developing relationships with key travel suppliers across air, hotel and ground services
* Leading conversations around commercial terms, securing competitive rates and added value where possible
* Reviewing supplier performance and working with partners to improve service, availability and overall delivery
* Collaborating with internal teams to ensure supplier strategy supports client needs and business objectives
* Identifying new supplier opportunities and helping to strengthen the overall product offering
* Using data and insight to monitor performance and support decision-making
* Ensuring supplier agreements and processes are consistent and well managedSupplier Relations Manager - what experience do I need?
* Experience within business travel, TMC, airline or a supplier-facing role
* Background in supplier, account or commercial management
* Confidence negotiating and managing commercial relationships
* Understanding of how travel suppliers operate within a corporate or managed travel environment
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships
