Health & Safety Administrator - Travel Industry
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing travel business who specialise in delivering high-quality educational travel experiences. They are now looking for a Health & Safety Administrator to join their team, supporting the delivery of safe, compliant and well-managed trips.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in travel operations, product or supplier coordination who has had exposure to safety, compliance or risk processes and is looking to develop further in this area.
Health & Safety Administrator - what will I be doing?
- Supporting the coordination of health & safety and compliance processes across the business
- Assisting with supplier checks, particularly across accommodation and transport providers
- Helping to prepare for and manage annual audits and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date
- Maintaining and updating policies in line with industry standards
- Monitoring safety-related data, reporting and internal processes
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure a consistent and organised approach to safety and compliance
- Providing general administrative support to the wider team as required
Health & Safety Administrator - what experience do I need?
- Previous experience within the travel industry (tour operations, product, or supplier coordination)
- Exposure to health & safety, compliance, risk or supplier checks within a travel environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- High attention to detail and a structured approach to documentation
- Confident using systems and tools such as Excel or CRM platforms
- A proactive and reliable approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Health & Safety Administrator - What else do I need to know?
Full-time role, 35 hours per week
Based in the office 3 days per week - Surrey / South London
