Business Travel Consultant - London office based or hybrid or fully remote in UK
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading investment management travel account for an experienced Business Travel Consultant. You'll be part of a supportive UK team delivering a high-touch, consultative service to business travellers and travel bookers. This is a role for someone who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys working within clear policy and process, and wants to be in a team where your judgement and ideas are genuinely listened to.
Business Travel Consultant - what will I be doing?
- Managing end-to-end corporate travel requests, making sure every booking is accurate, compliant and cost-effective
- Advising travellers and travel arrangers on the best options, routes and fares, rather than simply processing bookings
- Handling changes and urgent amendments calmly and efficiently, keeping travellers informed throughout
- Producing clear itineraries and documentation so travellers have everything they need, first time
- Working to established workflows and contributing suggestions to improve how things are done day-to-day
- Collaborating with colleagues to maintain consistently high service levels, escalating issues when needed to get the right outcome
Business Travel Consultant - what experience do I need?
- A minimum of 7 years' experience in business travel (TMC or similar corporate travel environment)
- Strong GDS capability (Sabre, Galileo and/or Amadeus), with solid fares and ticketing knowledge
- A naturally detail-driven approach, with pride in accuracy and high standards
- Confidence working to policy and process, with a structured, consistent way of working
- Strong communication skills and a client-first service style, even when it's busy
- A team-focused approach - you enjoy sharing knowledge, supporting others and keeping standards high
Business Travel Consultant - What else do I need to know?Location: London hybrid or fully remote anywhere in the UK
Working in an incredible team where you will be really looked after and have the environment to thrive
Hybrid pattern: two days in the London office (Monday and Tuesday), working from home Wednesday to Friday
Hours: shift-based (08:30-17:00, 09:00-17:00, or 09:30-18:00)
Training: minimum of 4 weeks in London
