Senior Business Travel Consultant - Part-Time (4 days per week)
Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire (2 days office-based, 2 days from home)
Salary: £30k - £35k (pro rata, depending on experience)We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established corporate travel company at a genuinely exciting stage of its growth. Senior Business Travel Consultant - what will I be doing?
- Managing complex, multi-sector itineraries across air, rail, car, and hotel bookings.
- Using GDS (ideally Travelport), online tools, and company systems to create seamless travel solutions.
- Delivering first-class service to both new and long-standing clients, offering professional advice before, during, and after travel.
- Ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising traveller experience or company margins.
- Supporting client review meetings and presenting travel data and potential savings where relevant.
- Playing an active role in the continued development of systems, processes, and client relationships.
Senior Business Travel Consultant - what experience do I need?
- Strong background in business travel operations within a TMC or similar environment.
- Proven ability to handle complex, multi-destination itineraries.
- Confident GDS user - ideally Travelport (though training can be provided for the right person).
- Customer-focused, commercially aware, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Senior Business Travel Consultant - what else do I need to know?
This is a 4-day per week role (pro rata salary up to £35,000).
Hybrid working: 2 days per week in the Stevenage office and 2 days from home.
Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00-17:00.
