Account Manager - Corporate Travel
This is a fantastic time to be joining this innovative and unique market leader and an opportunity for an Account Manager with a demonstrable record of achievement within the corporate travel industry, to make a significant impact and add value. The company is supportive and continually looking for ways to enhance their service delivery and market offering. They employ the best within their field and are looking for an experienced Account Manager or a Senior Business Travel Consultant who shares the same drive and passion to succeed.
Account Manager - What will I be doing?
The core part of this role is to nurture existing corporate client accounts, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction, and identify opportunities for new business. You’ll be a great negotiator and will enjoy developing client relationships, keeping them appraised of new initiatives and current services as well as new technology and providing technology demonstrations as and when required. You’ll review, analyse and appraise as part of your business as usual, and will liaise with Clients as well as Operations and Finance to resolve client issues. This is a diverse role which will also see you managing client events and FAM trips, reporting on competitor activity and management of the Company’s website so there’s plenty of scope to utilise a variety of skills.
Account Manager - What experience do I need?- Experience within the travel industry as a Business Travel Consultant or Account Manager
- Customer focused with client facing experience
- An outgoing and sociable character who is career focused
- An ability to assess and enhance processes
- Proven experience of delivering exceptional customer service
- Excellent at building relationships and great key stakeholder management skills
- A problem solver with the ability to follow through tasks and responsibilities to ensure positive outcomes
- A team player who is also equally as effective working independently
- IT literate and knowledge of Microsoft products
- Excellent eye for detail and accuracy
- Highly motivated and well-organised
- Full UK Driving Licence
Account Manager - What else do I need to know?
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and career focused individual who is passionate about travel, account management and business development. You will be office based in Aberdeen one day a week and work the rest from home or out on site meeting clients in the surrounding area.
