Travel Consultant (Polar Specialist) – Adventure Travel Tour Operator
This wonderful tour operator who specialise in some incredible adventure style holidays are looking for someone to join their team as a Polar Specialist. This role is pivotal in ensuring the customers' experience is the best it can be.
Polar Specialist - What will I be doing?
- You will be supporting and delivering exceptional service to Polar customers and helping to drive sales to the Artic and Antarctica
- You will maximise all sales opportunities and work towards targets and agreed KPIs
- You will follow-up with any sales enquiries and attempt to convert to sales bookings
- You will become familiar with the Polar product in order to be able to communicate features and benefits
- You will book flights using the designated company systems
Polar Specialist - What experience do I need?
- Previous experience in selling Polar destinations is desirable
- First-hand travel experience to Polar destinations is desirable but not essential
- Ability to demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service excellence
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with selling skills
Polar Specialist – What else do I need to know?
The hours are 37.5 hours per week and will include some evening and weekend work.
The pay is £23k plus bonus and there is also a host of travel discounts for you and anyone travelling with you, healthcare benefits, pension and amazing offices to work from. This is a hybrid role working 2 days a week in the office but there is a chance that this role can be offered as a remote role if you live too far away to commute.
