Marketing Consultant - Leisure Team
A renowned travel company is seeking a motivated Marketing Consultant to join their team. This role focuses on managing, planning, and executing marketing activities for the Leisure Department. As the Marketing Consultant, you will create and implement effective marketing strategies to generate client enquiries, enhance customer engagement, and promote cross-selling between various travel brands.
Marketing Consultant - What will I be doing?
• Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan aligned with senior staff and directors' objectives.
• Own the entire customer lifecycle, ensuring engagement at all stages and obtaining client feedback through review platforms.
• Collaborate with the Web & Digital team to co-manage digital marketing activities, including email campaigns and social media presence.
• Analyse data to identify trends, measure marketing effectiveness, and make data-driven decisions.
• Identify advertising, PR, and award opportunities to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
• Project manage the production of marketing collateral, including newsletters, booklets, brochures, and other promotional materials.
• Collaborate with the Corporate team to identify cross-marketing opportunities.
• Develop and implement a social media strategy, including content creation and community management.
• Organise events and negotiate appropriate collateral to support marketing initiatives.
• Manage marketing budgets and negotiate with third-party vendors.
• Work collaboratively within a team, seek feedback, and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
Marketing Consultant - What experience do I need?
• Proven experience delivering successful marketing campaigns using traditional and digital channels.
• Strong knowledge of PR strategies and experience working with designers and external agencies.
• Excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using MS Teams for planning, file organization, and note-taking.
• Strong computer skills, including Word and Excel.
• Demonstrated budget management and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with modern marketing methods, including digital media channels.
• Ability to execute, monitor, and analyze marketing campaigns.
• Motivated by success, sales-driven, and adaptable to working under pressure.
• Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Positive mindset, proactive approach, and ability to work well in a team.
