Flights Executive - What will I be doing?

As a Flights Executive your primary responsibility will be to support the business in all matters relating to air for their customers and staff, for business and personal travel. You'll be a detail-focused professional who delivers quality work, ensuring all documentation is correct and the best fares are sourced for all booking types. You'll provide a high level of support to your colleagues, including the Sales, Administration and Product Teams and work well under pressure and to demanding deadlines.

Flights Executive - What experience do I need?

Experience of working for a specialist tour operator in a similar role
GDS Reservation skills (Amadeus) are essential for this role
Demonstrable experience of problem-solving and thinking outside of the box
You'll be an experienced negotiator with great influencing skills
Experience of issuing, re-issuing and performing re-calculations of international and domestic airlines
A working knowledge of IATA and currency regulations
Good geographical and product knowledge of destinations, cities and airlines
Experienced in Fares and Ticketing and with a relevant qualification
Highly motivated, well-organised and able to thrive in a pressurised environment
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent MSO skills

If you have experience of booking worldwide travel requirements and have worked for a specialist tour operator, we'd love to hear from you. There's plenty of scope for progression for someone who is eager to develop their skills and has a love of travel and foreign cultures. The role offers hybrid working and is based in Dorking two days a week and three days from home.
