This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and driven Assistant Contracts Manager to join an award-winning tour operator. They offer fantastic tailor-made trips and are looking for a likeminded individual who is as enthusiastic, dedicated, and passionate about travel as they are.
Assistant Contracts Manager (Education) - What will I be doing?
As the Assistant Contracts Manager, you will work closely with the Contracts Manager and Head of Product, to negotiate and contract supplier agreements, across all of the Company’s Education destinations. Your aim will be to help manage supplier relationships, whilst aiming to secure the best terms and conditions, commission, allocation and exclusivity; this is where your expertise in negotiating rates and managing commercial and legal contracts will come in!
Assistant Contracts Manager (Education) - What experience do I need?- Previous tour operating experience and preferably with destination knowledge of Iceland and/or Norway
- Strong commercial acumen
- High degree of flexibility and an ability to deal with change
- Great at multi-tasking and managing demanding deadlines
- Strong communicator and team player with an ability to engage effectively across all levels of a business
- Highly motivated, well-organised and target-driven
- Excellent eye for detail and accuracy
- Excellent spoken and written English and numeracy skills
- Results and target orientated, with a can-do attitude
Assistant Contracts Manager (Education) - What else do I need to know?
If you are passionate about travel and experiencing new cultures and have at least 12 months’ experience of negotiating rates and contracts, this could be a superb opportunity for you. There’s plenty of ongoing training and personal development and the benefits package, which includes discounted staff travel, familiarisation trips and various social events, is a great added bonus. The hours of work are Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm and the Company offers hybrid working and a modern and well-appointed office in Dorking. 2 days a week in the office.
