This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand new team, for an experienced Travel Specialist to join an impressive award-winning tour operator. They offer fantastic tailor-made trips and arguably the best service within their specialist field and are looking for a likeminded individual who is as enthusiastic, dedicated, and passionate about travel as they are.
Travel Specialist, Rail Team - What will I be doing?
As a Travel Specialist you will create individually designed trips for some of the world’s most spectacular rail journeys in Europe. You will combine your passion for travel with your invaluable knowledge of what luxury travel is to create unique and bespoke itineraries that meet clients’ individual needs. You will take ownership of all aspects of the customer journey and be their point of contact throughout the process. The position is challenging and requires a self-motivated and ambitious individual who can succeed in a sales environment whilst delivering a service that is not just quality but fit for purpose.
Travel Specialist, Rail Team - What experience do I need?- Previous experience of working in travel sales
- Familiar with international rail travel and destination experience of Switzerland, Italy and the Nordics
- Excellent communicator with the ability to listen and interpret information to ensure each client’s trip is personalised to their requirements
- Demonstrable experience of working in a pressurised environment and being able to adapt quickly to an increase in volumes of work
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- A problem solver with the ability to follow through tasks and responsibilities to ensure positive outcomes
- Excellent eye for detail and accuracy
- Strong communicator and team player with an ability to engage effectively across all levels of a business
- Highly motivated and well-organised
- Confident user of Office 365

This is a hybrid role in their wonderful offices in Dorking 2 days a week and 3 days from home. You will be forming a brand new team for the business so it's a unique and exciting opportunity.
