Business Travel Revenue & Billing Specialist - What will I be doing?
You will take ownership of the invoicing lifecycle for complex, multi-sector itineraries, ensuring all charges comply with fare rules, negotiated agreements, and supplier terms before invoices are issued. Acting as the final checkpoint between reservation and revenue, you will prevent discrepancies, safeguard margin, and ensure a seamless client experience. You will also be the central point of contact for billing and invoice queries, investigating discrepancies, resolving fare disputes, and collaborating with reservations, finance, and suppliers to implement swift solutions, while contributing to process improvements across the team.
Business Travel Revenue & Billing Specialist - What experience do I need?
- Advanced Sabre GDS expertise, including complex itineraries, fare rules, and negotiated rates
- Strong working knowledge of Protas or a similar back-office invoicing system
- Previous experience in billing, invoicing, or finance support within a business or corporate travel environment
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prevent revenue leakage and protect margin
- Strong problem-solving skills and confidence liaising with senior bookers, colleagues, and suppliers
- Excellent communication skills, remaining calm and professional under pressure
Business Travel Revenue & Billing Specialist - What else do I need to know?
This role can be worked on a hybrid basis from offices in London, Hampshire, or Glasgow, although the successful candidate must be able to travel to Glasgow when required.
