Travel Sales Consultant - Luxury Africa Specialist
This is a special opportunity for a Travel Consultant who is a Luxury African Safari Specialist who thrives on giving the customer a phenomenal level of service. Not just good customer service but seriously "out of this world go the extra mile type service". It will lead them to come back to you time and time again and to recommend your outstanding levels of attention to detail to every friend they have. You would be working for a worldwide tour operator who are known for this.
Travel Sales Consultant - What will I be doing ?- You will be working as a Travel Sales Consultants, selling luxury holidays mainly to Africa but also to other worldwide destinations
- You will be liaising with the customer and all suppliers to make sure this will be a holiday to remember and that every element runs smoothly.
- You'll manage the booking process for all parts including flights
- You will be working with a sales support team to ensure high attention to detail on all aspects of the holiday.
- You will negotiate with suppliers.
Travel Sales Consultant - What experience do I need?- You will have worked for a luxury tour operator previously selling holidays to Africa - ideally this will be your specialist field.
- You will love travel and will have ideally travelled a lot.
- You will be a natural communicator with previous success in building customer relationships within the travel industry
Travel Sales Consultant - What else do I need to know?This role is hybrid based 3 days a week in Berkshire 2 from home - potentially fully remote.
The salary is dependent on experience, but it is very good indeed plus discretionary annual bonus. It is a very "grown up" environment - you won't be micromanaged but given the freedom to provide your clients with the best possible tailormade service This role offers true scope to develop your career too. The team are lovely, and they really look after their team - there is private medical care after a qualifying period, life assurance, fam trips, discounted travel and a great work life balance as the hours are Monday to Friday 9 - 5.30pm.
