Contracts Manager UK
This well-established travel business is looking for someone to join them to manage the sourcing of suppliers within a designated geographical area.
Contracts Manager - What will I be doing?- Identify and source suitable suppliers and products / services
- Negotiate market leading rates or exclusive deals with key suppliers
- Ensure all suppliers are re-contracted as appropriate within set deadlines
- Monitor performance of your geographical areas of responsibility
- Ensure all suppliers adhere to robust health and safety policies and SLA’s
- Work with pricing & sales teams to maximise sales and profit growth
Contracts Manager - What experience do I need?- Experience working as either a junior buyer, senior purchasing executive, contracts executive or commercial role (2 years desirable)
- Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
- Experience of working in a busy environment, demonstrate ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
- Evidence of multitasking whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to develop close working relationships with suppliers
