Sales Support Executive - join a supportive, high-energy travel team
We're recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Sales Support Executive to join their operations team.
You'll be part of a well-established, growing travel business based in central London, supporting the sales and operations teams to make sure every booking runs smoothly. Sales Support Executive - what will I be doing?
- Handling bookings for flights, accommodation, cruises, rail, car hire, motorhomes, ferries, transfers and excursions
- Ticketing and reissuing flights using Galileo GDS (training available for other GDS users)
- Managing schedule changes, cancellations, reissues and refunds within deadlines
- Working closely with the sales and product teams to keep everything running smoothly
- Communicating with customers and suppliers by phone and email to provide updates and solve issues
- Staying informed about supplier policy changes and industry developments
Sales Support Executive - what experience do I need?
- Previous experience in a travel operations or customer support role is essential
- Confidence using a GDS (Galileo preferred, but others considered)
- Strong knowledge of fare rules, ticketing, and airline policies
- Experience handling B2B or tour operator bookings would be an advantage
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- A genuine love of travel and commitment to great service
Sales Support Executive - what else do I need to know?
Full-time, hybrid role (3 days in the office, central London)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:30 or 10:00-18:30, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays
Salary: £30,000 + bonus + incredible travel perks
