Sales Manager
Full-time, Hybrid (York area)
This is an exciting opportunity for a self-driven and motivated individual, to take on this role leading all Sales activities within an impressive, large pan-European travel group. You will be an accomplished Sales professional with a track record of exceeding targets and will develop and lead a highly motivated Sales team. You will help drive Business growth through improving systems and processes. Through your involvement in several transformation projects you will be a key player in driving business growth.
Sales Manager - What will I be doing?- Generate a fun and positive team culture where sales are maximised and exceptional customer service delivered
- Establish an incentive structure to maximize sales
- Motivate and inspire the sales team members to perform in line with targets and KPI
- Recruit, on-board and oversee the training of the new members of the sales team
- Collaborate with Marketing, Commercial and Product on tactical sales campaigns to maximise sales opportunities
- Use sound judgement to manage difficult customer situations and solicit feedback to improve service
- Work cross functionally to ensure projects and business initiatives are implemented across the sales team
Sales Manager - What experience do I need?
- People management skills including setting clear objectives, managing performance, giving feedback
- Highly confident, competent, and articulate individual who can communicate professionally
- Demonstrated track record of managing customer feedback and complaints
- Planning and implementation skills which ensure initiatives/projects run to time and budget whilst achieving objectives
- A track record of coming up with and implementing great ideas that deliver commercial results
- Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding goals as an individual
- Analytical and reporting skills, using data-driven reporting to track, report on and improve individual, team and business performance
