Live Chat Agent - Travel Industry
Our client who is a very well-respected tour operator specialising in self-guided walking holidays is actively seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Live Chat Agent, a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences. As a Live Chat Agent, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, facilitating enquiries and sales of holidays through live chat and email channels.
Live Chat Agent - What will I be doing?
- Uphold a commitment to providing the highest level of customer service, meeting both individual and team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with departmental standards.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, lasting relationships with our client's valued customer base.
- Resolve instances of customer dissatisfaction promptly and effectively, ensuring a streamlined and efficient customer experience.
Live Chat - What experience do I need?
- Ideally you will have experience of working in a live chat role previously - if this was in the travel industry then even better!
- Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, especially in customer communication.
- Previous experience in sales and customer service is essential - ideally in a call centre environment.
Live Chat Agent - What else do I need to know?
This role could either be based in the office in a hybrid capacity (York area - NB Own transport required) Or our client will consider someone being fully remote.
