Junior Travel Sales Consultant
Our client is looking for a Junior Travel Sales Consultant to join them in a varied and exciting opportunity. They are an emerging brand within the luxury travel market who are on an incredible journey with some very ambitious plans. They are thriving and are growing their team imminently. Their model is unique and is really making waves in the industry. This role could evolve into a Sales Consultant role that has great earning potential.
Junior Travel Sales Consultant - What will I be doing ?
- You will act as a point of contact to direct clients and trade with the objective of assisting them in their requirements when booking a holiday home, apartment or ski chalet
- You will be supporting the sales team with the production of marketing collateral and brochures to facilitate sales
- You will prepare and distribute invoices and work closely with the wider sales team to provide exemplary service at all times
- You will be updating and maintaining sales records, providing booking administration support to sales colleagues and management
Junior Travel Sales Consultant- What experience do I need ?
- We are looking for someone who has a real desire to enter the luxury travel industry
- You will have a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum 2.1
- You will need to have strong organisational skills with the ability to complete a high volume of tasks within tight deadlines and to a high standard
- Impeccable attention to detail and a passion for processes
- Candidates with good knowledge of destinations in Europe, the UK, US and Caribbean will be at an advantage
- Positive attitude and emotional IQ in a fast-paced, continually evolving environment
- A willingness to learn and develop customer service skills and sales techniques
- Desire to match and exceed customer expectations
- Technological proficiency and numerically strong with excellent written English
- Good communication skills, keenness to interact with guests and homeowners
- Tenacity and a positive, flexible attitude are critical personal attributes to success in this role
Junior Travel Sales Consultant - What else do I need to know?
This is a hybrid role - working in central London 2 days a week Monday to Friday 9 - 6 with one Saturday morning every 6 weeks. The salary is £26k plus the opportunity to earn further due to personal and team performance.
