We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our Surrey-based Electronics Distribution company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial management and reporting functions of the company. Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

• Manage financial transactions and ensure accuracy in recording and reporting.
• Using Quickbooks to maintain financial records and generate reports.
• Ensure proper cash-flow management and maintain liquidity.
• Monitor and control expenses, budgeting, and forecasting.

Stock Control and International Logistics:

• Preferred knowledge of stock control systems and international flow of goods.
• Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams to optimise inventory management.

Debt Collection:

• Chase up debtors and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
• Implement effective credit control measures.

Reporting:

• Generate monthly management accounts in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Essential experience with Quickbooks accounting software.
• Strong cash-flow management skills.
• Good knowledge of financial and accounting principles.
• Proven experience in financial control and management.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of stock control systems and international logistics is preferred.
• Experience in producing management accounts and audit packs.
• Familiarity with the electronics distribution industry is a plus.
