Operations Manager - What will I be doing?
Whilst the core part of this role is ensuring that the customer's experience is industry leading, pre, during and post trips, it also requires taking ownership of the operational procedures to ensure that the correct processes are in place to deliver on all company objectives and ultimately provide an unforgettable experience for the customer. You will liaise with clients and suppliers to make sure that trips and events are delivered successfully and will also be required to travel overseas on a regular basis which is a fantastic added bonus! As an experienced manager and solutions provider, you will be responsible for resolving all customer queries effectively, no matter how complex or challenging and will drive your team to deliver the highest level of customer service, adhering to company policies and procedures and upholding its outstanding reputation and company ethos.
Operations Manager - What experience do I need?
- Experience within the travel industry is essential and particularly worldwide destination knowledge
- Proven experience of overseeing the operational process of international tours
- Excellent at building relationships and great key stakeholder management skills
- International exposure at senior level
- A problem solver with the ability to follow through tasks and responsibilities to ensure positive outcomes
- A successful manager with a proven track record of managing, leading and motivating teams
- Fluency in another European language would be advantageous although not essential
- IT literate and knowledge of Microsoft products
- Highly motivated and well-organised, particularly under pressure and whilst working to demanding deadlines
