Business Development Executive
Our client is a leading name in Educational Travel and are growing fast. They are looking for an ambitious Business Growth Specialist to join them. This role will be crucial in expanding the client base within the educational sector and cultivating strong relationships with Further and Higher Educational Institutions.
Business Development Executive - What will I be doing?
- The responsibilities will include identifying new opportunities, formulating business development strategies, and achieving sales targets.
- You will be responsible for identifying potential leads and uncovering new business prospects within the further and higher education sector.
- Maintaining a robust and active pipeline of potential clients through networking, cold outreach, email campaigns, and active participation in industry events.
- You will customise travel itineraries to address the specific needs of group leaders and individual clients.
- You will collaborate with the broader team to identify subject areas in demand and help create a comprehensive product portfolio.
Business development Executive - What experience do I need?
- You must have previously worked within an environment that sells to the educational market - ideally specifically to universities and their procurement processes.
- You will have a strong sales acumen, with the ability to independently generate and manage a sales pipeline.
- You will be a natural at developing relationships and have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with impeccable English proficiency.
- You will need good commercial and financial awareness, along with robust numeracy skills.
- Having knowledge of European destinations, particularly in the context of educational travel will be an advantage.
Business Development Executive - what else do I need to know?
In addition to a competitive base salary, the candidate will receive a quarterly bonus, company pension contribution and access to well-being support. A Health care cash plan as well as incentives and reward programs with ability to buy extra leave. This is a full-time office-based role Monday to Friday with occasional weekend duty phone.
