Financial Accountant

Financial Accountant - What will I be doing ?
Your main responsibility is for the assistance in preparation of the statutory accounts, tax compliance, year end consolidation and monthly tasks to include but not limited to the following:
* You will be providing assistance in reviewing year end files for any adjustments prior to closing year end
* Helping to prepare statutory accounts for multiple entities that form part of the Group
* Liaising with their Tax Advisors and Auditors and arranging for the tax work to be completed prior to the audit commencing
* Preparing supporting documents for the global audit process
* Month end reviews for individual entities incl. signing off Balance Sheet reconciliations & P&L's
* Checking monthly intercompany reconciliations schedule
* Preparing Foreign Exchange workings and journals on all intercompany loan accounts and trade receivables / payables
* Assistance with looking after Corporation Tax (Final Tax Return submission, deadlines, payments & if refunds are required) - communicate to team
Financial Accountant - What experience do I need?
To be considered for this position, you must be a qualified accountant ( Newly qualified will be considered ) speak fluent English and have UK GAAP/FRS experience. Knowledge of IFRS would be preferable alongside French speaking or another European language.
