Luxury Travel Consultant

This outstanding operator based in central London are hiring a further Senior Travel Consultant to sell their luxury exotic holidays to the public and the trade. They have a product that is out of this world and they need a world class consultant to join them in servicing their loyal and growing client base.
 

 

Luxury Travel Consultant - What will I be doing?

 
You will be working on a GDS system booking flights, hotels and land arrangements to the most discerning of clients. Nothing will be too much trouble and your knowledge will be second to none.
Selling trips to the a variety of destinations to include the Caribbean, Indian Ocean and Europe  - you will be an absolute expert in these locations.
 

Luxury Travel Consultant - What experience do I need?

 
You must have sold luxury holidays to these destinations previously. Ideally you will have walked many beaches in the Caribbean and visited most properties at the high end level. Their staff are absolute experts in this part of the world and you will need to be too.  Going the extra mile for a client will come naturally to you and you will thrive on delivering the best service possible.

    Team Leader - What will I be doing?

    • Your time will be split between selling luxury long haul holidays to (mainly) the trade and taking responsibility for your small team's sales.
    • You will be there to lead by example and support the other consultants to be the best they can be.
    • You will be monitoring their progress and encouraging them to reach their KPIS through a mix of call monitoring, coaching and performance reviews.

    Team Leader - What experience do I need?

    • It is essential that you have worked selling long haul holidays previously and have come from a team leader / supervisory / assistant manager / branch manager background for a luxury travel business.
    • You will be an exceptional example to your team and have experience of bringing the best out of people.
    • It is essential that you have worked in a targeted travel sales environment before.


    Team Leader - additional information

    You will be based from home initially but as soon as it is safe will be working in the office fulltime on a 7 day a week rota working 37.5 hours a week - usually 3 out of 5 Saturdays and some Sundays across the year. The pay is good with a bonus scheme and the team are incredibly friendly and professional with lots of opportunity for you to grow with the business over time.     • Ideally you will have sold IT solutions previously and will have a great network that you can call upon but we will consider an exceptional sales person who is capable of opening doors, building relationships and winning contracts.
    • You will have outstanding communication and presentation skills and be incredibly self motivated and conscientious.
    • You will be technically savvy and able to talk with confidence about technical solutions

    IT sales Executive / Business Development Manager - Additional Information

    This role pays a basic salary of up to £40k depending on experience with an OTE of £80k - £90k with a generous on going commission structure over 2 years with the possibility of this continuing with the sales of new products thereafter. You will be provided with a mobile, laptop and set up from home with occasional trips to the office for meetings. There is also lead generation support where appropriate.
