Finance Manager - what you will be doing:

  • You will be responsible for the monthly production of the P&Ls and the integrity of the data supporting the results.
  • You will be reconciling and reporting GP analysis
  • You will oversee all purchase ledger transactions.
  • Approval of cashbook reconciliations and exchange variances
  • You will manage cashflow and credit control
  • Manage Payroll, bonuses and commissions, in conjunction with payroll manager
  • Responsible for ensuring all paye taxes are paid and reconciled
  • Assist with the management accounts preparation

Finance Manager - What experience do I need?

  • You must have proven experience in delivering accurate financial accounts
  • You will be AAT qualified as a minimum
  • Technical knowledge of double entry
  • You must have experience of project managing key financial processes and changes
  • You will be a self-motivated individual with high levels of energy.
  • You will exhibit a high level of attention to detail.
  • This business is fast moving so you need to be flexible and versatile
  • Fluency in French would be an advantage

    Financial Accountant

    This global business are looking for an ambitious Financial Accountant to join their team at a particularly exciting time.     Financial Accountant - What will I be doing ?

    Your main responsibility is for the assistance in preparation of the statutory accounts, tax compliance, year end consolidation and monthly tasks to include but not limited to the following:

    * You will be providing assistance in reviewing year end files for any adjustments prior to closing year end
    * Helping to prepare statutory accounts for multiple entities that form part of the Group
    * Liaising with their Tax Advisors and Auditors and arranging for the tax work to be completed prior to the audit commencing
    * Preparing supporting documents for the global audit process
    * Month end reviews for individual entities incl. signing off Balance Sheet reconciliations & P&L's
    * Checking monthly intercompany reconciliations schedule
    * Preparing Foreign Exchange workings and journals on all intercompany loan accounts and trade receivables / payables
    * Assistance with looking after Corporation Tax (Final Tax Return submission, deadlines, payments & if refunds are required) - communicate to team

    Financial Accountant - What experience do I need?

    To be considered for this position, you must be a qualified accountant ( Newly qualified will be considered ) speak fluent English and have UK GAAP/FRS experience. Knowledge of IFRS would be preferable alongside French speaking or another European language.

    Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant - Full time or Part Time

    This small, well established private practice are looking for an additional Accountant to join their friendly and busy team.

    Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant - What will I be doing?

    • You will be working with a high volume of individuals and Limited Companies on a variety of work but mainly on self assessment and Tax returns.
    • You will be meeting with clients (virtually for now) regularly and assisting them in all aspects
    • You will be using the Xero system
    • Our levels of service are high so it is really important that you are a great communicator and really care about the service you are delivering

    Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant -What experience do I need?

    • It is essential that you are either a Part Qualified or Qualified and you must have worked in Practice previously. Ideally you will have used Xero but this is not essential.
    • You will be well presented and a good communicator
    • Initially you will be remote working so must be confident to work on your own.

    Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant - Additional Information
    This role is very flexible - it can be full time or part time - school hours could be accommodated but so could 3 full days and equally a Full Time Accountant is also possible. They pay well with 25 days holidays plus bank holidays. Lovely smart offices with parking.
