Tour Consultant / Key Account Manager

This is a wonderful opportunity to join an ambitious and successful specialist educational tour operator providing bespoke tailor made services to schools / colleges and universities. They are incredibly busy right now and are looking for a Tour Consultant to help them create bespoke tours.

Tour Consultant / Key Account Manager - What will I be doing?

  • You will be tailor making itineraries for educational settings in line with the course that their students are studying. Every tour is bespoke with each client having different needs
  • You will be generating accurate tour costings
  • Liaising with suppliers / colleagues to negotiate and confirm travel, accommodation and visit requirements
  • Ensuring all tours are completed within set budgets and client payments are received in the agreed time frames
  • You will develop "life-long" relationships with both client and supplier


Tour Consultant / Key Account Manager - What experience do I need?

  • Ideally you will have an understanding of the needs of educational settings' trips with proven experience and full understanding of delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ideally advanced knowledge of the School Travel Market
  • Destination knowledge in particular Europe.
  • Ability to resolve problems, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work as under own initiative, and essentially as part of a wider team
  • Analytical skills
  • IT literate and knowledge of Microsoft products
  • Ability to follow procedures and willingness to enhance them
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise workload and be highly organised
  • Commercial & financial awareness and be numerate
  • Adaptable and flexible

Tour Consultant / Key Account Manager - Additional Information:
This role is a Monday - Friday 9 - 5 role and is based in the office in Surrey / Greater London. This is an incredible time to join the business as it builds back after the pandemic with enquiries being through the roof. You will have lots of opportunity to progress in the future.     Working for a wonderful well established and very respected, award-winning tour operator - you will be responsible for processing a high volume of multi-currency invoices received from overseas suppliers for a variety of brands.

    Purchase Ledger Executive - What Will I be doing ?

    • You will be processing a high volume of multi-currency invoices received from overseas suppliers for a variety of brands
    • Ensuring suppliers are paid within the required timeframe and with accurate accounting entries.
    • Responsibility for ensuring supplier statements are reconciled & relationships with key suppliers managed. ·

    Purchase Ledger Executive - What experience do I need ?

    • It is essential that have experience in Purchase Ledger required
    • You will need knowledge & understanding of basic financial terminology - sufficient to understand the accounting implications of processes, postings and changes
    • Ideally you will have experience of working in a high volume transactional based role, with multi-currency
    • Experience of using SAP desirable
    • You will be organised, motivated and efficient individual

    Purchase Ledger Executive - What else do I need to know?

    This is a Monday to Friday full time role based in the office in Hampshire 2 days a week and 3 days from home

    You will start with 25 days holiday a year - this rises by 1 day per year to 30 days after 5 years with the company. You also get UK bank holidays. There is the option to 'buy' additional holiday leave if you need more time off Pension scheme and life assurance. Bonus eligibility based on company performance each year and discounted holidays.     Property Manager - Dorking

    This small Property Management Business in Dorking are looking for a competent, well organised, customer service focused Property Manager to join them.

    Property Manager - What will I be doing?

    • You will be looking after over 50 properties whereby this business manages the communal areas, so you will be liaising with cleaning, gardening and maintenance companies to ensure everything is as it should be
    • You will frequently be reacting to problems and solving them by coordinating with the relevant parties..leaks, problems with locks, refuse management, gardens etc..
    • You will on the phone a lot and using a database to log issues and liaising on email.


    Property Manager - What experience do I need?

    • This client is flexible on your background - if you have come from property management then great but it is certainly not essential.
    • You must be well organised, give exemplary service, have a can do attitude, a sense of urgency and be a team player.

    Property Manager - Additional Information:

    The hours are full time Monday to Friday - either 9 - 5.30pm or 9.30 - 6pm

    There is a good salary with this role.

    This is a full time office based role - you will not be required to do site visits

    Travel Sales Consultant - What will I be doing?
    * You will be working with some of the best in the industry - this business do not do online bookings or off the shelf holidays. Their absolute focus is on delivering a truly personalised service.
    * You will be working on worldwide destinations - some of their best sellers are Italy, Sri Lanka, Greece, India and South America but they send their clients all over the world. From Antarctic cruises and independent self-drives to remote beach escapes and private guided journeys. You will have plenty to get your teeth into and you have a direct influence on the product.
    * It's a "grown up" environment - you will have autonomy over your day to day routine and will be expected and encouraged to contribute ideas to the sales, product and marketing teams.
    * You will deliver a seamless customer experience. A desire to provide the highest standards of service is essential.
    * You will be the main point of contact for your customers, managing each stage of the booking process from enquiry and booking of flights (knowledge of Amadeus would be preferable) through to the holiday experience and post travel follow up.
    * Customer contact is via phone, email and in person - you are actively encouraged to get out and meet your customers and an allowance is provided to wine and dine your best clients.

    Travel Sales Consultant - What experience do I need?
    * It is essential that you have sales experience within the travel industry and from a company that shares their focus on tailormade travel to a discerning market.
    * You will be exceptionally well travelled and be able to demonstrate a genuine passion for travel.
    * You will be someone who likes to take responsibility, who enjoys the freedom to manage their own desk but also value contributing to the team. They take a collaborative approach to their bookings and success of the team is rewarded over the success of an individual.
    * You need to demonstrate confidence and knowledge to be able to secure sales in a genuinely consultative and customer focussed environment.

    Travel Sales Consultant - What else do I need to know?
    Hours are Monday to Friday 9 - 5.30 with very occasional Saturday mornings
    This business value talent and loyalty and pay well for it. Basic salary is dependent on experience but is above the industry average and there is also a performance related bonus scheme.
    There is a contributory pension scheme and fam trips are often given
    Annual leave is 20 days (excluding bank holidays) in year one and then rises in line with service to a maximum of 27 days (excluding bank holidays).

    This will be hybrid role - 3 days at home and in the office - either in London or Berkshire.
