Operations and Finance Manager - Trading Operations / Asset Management / Hedge Funds

We are working with an exciting proprietary trading firm based in London. They specialise in trading equities, futures and FX globally, relying on their proprietary quantitative models and trading systems. They are putting a new team together and are looking for an Operations and Finance Manager to provide financial and operational support to the business.

Operations and Finance Manager - What will I be doing?

• You will oversee various procedures including but not limited to preparing budgets and financial statements, processing payroll, audits, trade matching and reconciliations, AML/KYC checks and onboarding, compliance related matters
• You will perform daily trade affirmation, position reconciliations, corporate action and settlements
• You will review, streamline and improve current processes to drive more efficiency
• Maintain and develop business continuity and disaster recovery procedures after careful consideration of potential risks and impact

Operations and Finance Manger - What experience do I need?

• It is essential that you hold a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent from a top university
• You will have substanial experience of finance management and/or trading operations experience in fund houses, hedge funds or asset management firms
• You will have Product coverage with a wide range of products including stocks and derivatives.
• Proficiency at excel VBA and Python
