Account Manager

You would be joining a highly successful, well established and reputable independent Business Travel Company who are looking for an experienced Account Manager to work in their Corporate Team. You could work some days from home in this role. 


Corporate Travel  - Account Manager  - What will I be doing? 

You will play a key role in the Account Management team – managing, maintaining and developing partnerships across the entire corporate client base for this Corporate Travel Management business, ensuring lasting relationships through the provision of excellent service, MI, pro-active reviews and prompt issue resolution. 
You will be responsible for identifying company growth opportunities, increase revenue streams whilst promoting client retention, ensuring they maintain their service excellence reputation. 
You will build long-term, mutually dependent relationships with all clients in their portfolio, including high volume, high profile and global accounts

You will analyse MI and booking trends to make informed client recommendations – providing expert knowledge to the client on how they can have efficiencies and reduce their travel spend

You will provide recommendations to enhance clients' Travel Policy and working procedures

You will develop and agree quarterly business plans, KPIs and metrics with agreed objectives and  manage and monitor agreed SLAs and KPIs

A big part of the role will be to plan, co-ordinate and manage review meetings, delivering strategic recommendations 

You will also manage supplier negotiations on behalf of the client, including building client-specific  supplier programmes

You will support the Sales team with the development and submission of pitches and closing sales, attending sales presentations where required

Corporate Travel - Account Manager   - What experience do I need?
It is essential that you have excellent TMC Account Management experience – looking after high profile, high trading accounts, with global account management experience

You will have a sound knowledge of marketplace online booking tools

We are looking for someone with excellent commercial awareness and a sound understanding of Corporate Travel policies across all sectors

You will have a good general knowledge of travel products, including traveller profiles, fare types, rail products, back office feeds, QC Systems and MI reporting tools

Corporate Travel - Account Manager - Other Information:

You will be paid an excellent basic salary plus bonus. 
There is the ability for this role to be part home based but you must be in the office 2 - 3 days every week - they are based in Kent but also have a base in London.

    Tour Consultant / Key Account Manager - What will I be doing?

    • You will be tailor making itineraries for educational settings in line with the course that their students are studying. Every tour is bespoke with each client having different needs
    • You will be generating accurate tour costings
    • Liaising with suppliers / colleagues to negotiate and confirm travel, accommodation and visit requirements
    • Ensuring all tours are completed within set budgets and client payments are received in the agreed time frames
    • You will develop "life-long" relationships with both client and supplier

    • Ideally you will have an understanding of the needs of educational settings' trips with proven experience and full understanding of delivering exceptional customer service
    • Ideally advanced knowledge of the School Travel Market
    • Destination knowledge in particular Europe.
    • Ability to resolve problems, work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Ability to work as under own initiative, and essentially as part of a wider team
    • Analytical skills
    • IT literate and knowledge of Microsoft products
    • Ability to follow procedures and willingness to enhance them
    • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise workload and be highly organised
    • Commercial & financial awareness and be numerate
    • Adaptable and flexible

    Tour Consultant / Key Account Manager - Additional Information:
    This role is a Monday - Friday 9 - 5 role and can either be based in the office in Surrey / Greater London or can be remote for the right person.     Sales Consultant - What Will I be doing?

    • At the moment the business is all incoming and so you will be converting these enquiries into bookings by ensuring your clients' needs are catered for in every way and that the right product is booked for them.
    • You will also be involved in the creation of new business using both telesales and email techniques.
    • The majority of you time will be spent:
    • Liaising with the client to ensure accurate tailored proposals are created
    • Accurately costing the proposals using our bespoke costing system
    • Ensuring accurate information re hotel, destination, visits is imparted at all times.

    • Proven telesales experience and successful target management ability - this is not a hard sell - you need to have a consultative approach and be very articulate

    • Ability to fully prepare a specialist tour package including transport, accommodation and costings to suit all School Groups requirements

    This role pays a good base plus a further bonus of c£4k per year, 25 days holiday and a cash back healthcare plan. You can be remote based or based full time in their office in Surrey.
