You would be joining a highly successful, well established and reputable independent Business Travel Company who are looking for an experienced Account Manager to work in their Corporate Team. You could work some days from home in this role.
Corporate Travel - Account Manager - What will I be doing?
You will play a key role in the Account Management team – managing, maintaining and developing partnerships across the entire corporate client base for this Corporate Travel Management business, ensuring lasting relationships through the provision of excellent service, MI, pro-active reviews and prompt issue resolution.
You will be responsible for identifying company growth opportunities, increase revenue streams whilst promoting client retention, ensuring they maintain their service excellence reputation.
You will build long-term, mutually dependent relationships with all clients in their portfolio, including high volume, high profile and global accounts
You will analyse MI and booking trends to make informed client recommendations – providing expert knowledge to the client on how they can have efficiencies and reduce their travel spend
You will provide recommendations to enhance clients' Travel Policy and working procedures
You will develop and agree quarterly business plans, KPIs and metrics with agreed objectives and manage and monitor agreed SLAs and KPIs
A big part of the role will be to plan, co-ordinate and manage review meetings, delivering strategic recommendations
You will also manage supplier negotiations on behalf of the client, including building client-specific supplier programmes
You will support the Sales team with the development and submission of pitches and closing sales, attending sales presentations where required
Corporate Travel - Account Manager - What experience do I need?
It is essential that you have excellent TMC Account Management experience – looking after high profile, high trading accounts, with global account management experience
You will have a sound knowledge of marketplace online booking tools
We are looking for someone with excellent commercial awareness and a sound understanding of Corporate Travel policies across all sectors
You will have a good general knowledge of travel products, including traveller profiles, fare types, rail products, back office feeds, QC Systems and MI reporting tools
Corporate Travel - Account Manager - Other Information:
You will be paid an excellent basic salary plus bonus.
There is the ability for this role to be part home based but you must be in the office 2 - 3 days every week - they are based in Kent but also have a base in London.
