Front End PHP Developer

An exciting opportunity awaits a specialist front end developer in an emerging brand in the luxury travel sector. They will be joining a small, dynamic team charged with delivering the next phase of the tech platform.

The role will embark on building the new web experience, implementing the latest front end frameworks and technologies. The successful candidate will work closely with the UX/UI designer and backend developers to deliver a best-in-class product that will serve the business for years to come.

Front End PHP Developer Requirements:

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • A proficiency in at least one front end javascript framework (e.g. React, Vue, Angular, etc.) having worked with them in a commercial environment.
  • Extensive experience in HTML5 and CSS3 and building responsive sites.
  • Knowledge of server-side CSS pre-processing technologies, such as LESS and SASS.
  • A solid understanding of asynchronous requests for partial page updates.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs.
  • An appreciation for factors that influence page load speed.
  • A good command of UX principles.
  • An understanding of SEO techniques in web development.
  • Proficiency with Git versioning tools and workflows.
  • A working knowledge of Agile practices and its associated tools.
  • Experience using Design tools such as Figma & Sketch a plus.
  • Some experience in backend technologies beneficial.
  • A methodical thinker, which bears out in their work.
  • A good problem-solver who can work under pressure.
  • A desire for self improvement and to follow best practices.
  • A good communicator.
  • A motivated individual, determined to make a success of what they put their mind to.

Front End Developer Additional Information :

This is a remote role in the main but regular meetings in the Berkshire area will be required so ideally you will live within a sensible distance from this county.

    • You will have a good sense of urgency and be well organised and nothing will be too much trouble for the customer.

    Sales Support Executive - What else do I need to know?

    Their office is in London, but they are happy for this person to be based from home if they live too far to commute everyday but being able to come in frequently would be good. The hours are between 08.30 - 6 on a shift basis with half a day at a weekend every other week but this will become less as the team grows. The salary is competitive, 25 days holiday and a lovely supportive team.     We are working with one of the leading Field Sports agencies in the UK who have been established for over 45 years. They have built their reputation by providing outstanding sport, backed up by a highly efficient and personal level of service. They are looking for an Event Co-ordinator to join the team.

    Event Co-ordinator - What will I be doing?

    You will be liaising with clients and internal personnel to ensure all the details of events are arranged efficiently and all aspects of the administrative process regarding the planning and booking of events days are completed.

    This will include all related administration to include issuing invoices, building relationships with suppliers, processing and creating itineraries, applying for permits and much more.

    Event Co-ordinator - What experience do I need?

    It is essential that you have worked with discerning clients previously.
    You will be meticulously organised, have a great sense of urgency and experience of organising events together with the administrative support.

    Event Co-ordinator What else do I need to know?

    This is a full-time role Monday to Friday 9 - 5.30 but from September - February longer hours are sometimes needed. It is an office-based role. This is a lovely business, and the work is a great challenge and very interesting. This is a unique role.
