    Operations Specialist - What will I be doing?
    You will be providing exceptional destination and subject matter advice, plus general guidance to customers to assist them through the booking process once the holiday or trip has been confirmed

    • You will be progressing and administering confirmed bookings on the in-house reservations system, ensure the customer is fully informed and supported throughout the remainder of the booking journey
    • You will be helping customers and suppliers with any booking queries pre and post travel
    • Help create detailed itinerary documents for each school/customer
    • Produce accurate booking confirmations, amendment quotes, checklists and invoices.

Air Operations Executive - What experience do I need ?

  • It is essential that you have experience in issuing airline tickets on a wide variety of scheduled & Low-cost airlines
  • Proficient knowledge in flight routings, general ticketing standards, major gateways & hubs.
  • Thorough knowledge of Amadeus GDS (preferred)
  • Experience of Sabre GDS desirable
  • Strong analytical skills to research and resolve discrepancies

  • Second language and advantage German (preferred) Good telephone manner


Air Operations Executive - What else do I need to know?

This can be worked remotely from home ( if homeworking technical guidelines are met) or based in the office in Southampton. The pay is £28k plus a benefits scheme to include private healthcare and 25 days holiday. The hours are Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm on a rota basis with a Saturday on a rota too.

Tour Coordinator - What will I be doing ?

You will be responsible for promoting all services that these brands offer to sports clubs and educational settings. You will be responsible for promoting the full product range, developing and maintaining long term relationships with higher educational establishments and providing top customer service to new and existing clients..

You will be working with both suppliers and clients directly to ensure the successful arrangement of the travel and accommodation

You will be Tailor making itineraries reflecting the requirements of the group, Generating accurate tour costings.

You will be regularly visiting assigned venues and areas, taking part in inspection visits and researching subjects and destination

Tour Coordinator - What experience do I need ?

  • Previous experience arranging tours in the educational travel sector would be preferable.
  • If you have not worked in educational travel, then a general travel industry operational background would be essential
    Strong knowledge of the School, College and Sports Club Travel Market and previous experience working on Education Events/Sports Tours would be ideal.

This is an office based or hybrid role with a requirement to be based in the office a minimum of 3 days a week. Operations Specialist - Travel Industry

This wonderful tour operator specialises in Educational Travel as well as some great holidays to some fabulous destinations. The great recovery has begun in travel, and they are now looking for someone to join them to work across all products in an operational role/

Operations Specialist - What will I be doing?
You will be providing exceptional destination and subject matter advice, plus general guidance to customers to assist them through the booking process once the holiday or trip has been confirmed

  • You will be progressing and administering confirmed bookings on the in-house reservations system, ensure the customer is fully informed and supported throughout the remainder of the booking journey
  • You will be helping customers and suppliers with any booking queries pre and post travel
  • Help create detailed itinerary documents for each school/customer
  • Produce accurate booking confirmations, amendment quotes, checklists and invoices.
  • You will maintain a departures checklist to ensure that schools/customers meet deadlines, and send reminders, as needed for payments, booking forms, insurance details and required information
  • You will communicate with suppliers to ensure all components of the booking are provided, as booked, and that dietary/medical requirements are met
  • You will also be involved in managing and resolving in-resort issues as a matter of priority and maintain the highest levels of customer service throughout. Document events and communicate as necessary.

Operations Specialist - What experience do I need?

  • Ideally you will have travel industry experience having worked in a similar operations or post booking role where you have managed itineraries etc..

You will ideally have a good knowledge of Iceland, Canada and Scandinavia but this is not essential
You will be an excellent communicator - always helpful and pro- active with a high attention to detail.

Operations specialist - What else do I need to know?

This is based in the office 2 days a week with the rest from home. The hours are 9 - 5. The salary is £23k - £24k with some lovely benefits. There is a real family feel to this business and they are excited to be back trading after the pandemic so there is a real buzz around the place.
